Not only was that the fastest support ticket I've gotten a response from by any company, but it was extremely detailed and worked like a charm.
THANK YOU!!!
I was going to create all this on Excel - whew, that was a huge project before me. You saved a huge amount of time for me.
Your app is so user friendly. I just experimented and very quickly I was up and running. I'm telling everyone I know about these wonderful apps!
Latest CLZ news
All CLZ news for July 2025, summarized in one email.
Two big releases this month, with a 3rd one coming up within a few days, maybe even tomorrow.
First up is the addition of several new data fields to our CLZ Music tools, both mobile and web. Users are loving the new fields, especially the Listening History.
The 2nd update, for all five CLZ Web flavors, received some mixed feedback. Most users absolute love the addition of the automatic eBay search links, but a small group of users hated it with a passion.
Which is why we made it optional from the start. But… based on the feedback, we have tweaked the look and placement of the links. Now things have quieted down in our support channels… phew, crisis averted!
We had planned to do a third big release this month, but it got delayed a bit. I am talking about the improvements to the popular Add By Cover Scan feature in the CLZ Comics mobile app. The final tweaks have just been implemented though, so we hope to submit to the apples and googles for approval today!
More about the above 3 updates and 2 other ongoing products:
- CLZ Music (web and mobile): New data fields
- CLZ Web (all flavors): Automatic eBay search links
- Coming up: CLZ Comics 10.3 (mobile): Easier and faster Adding by Cover!
- Coming up: CLZ Movies updates (web and mobile) with many new fields

Great news: our partners at CovrPrice have created a complete list of all San Diego Comic Con exclusives (650 now!!!)…
… and they have shared that list with CLZ for inclusion in the CLZ Core database!
So as of today, all SDCC exclusives can be found through the Add Comics screen in your CLZ Comics app.
A big THANK YOU to the CovrPrice team!
Two weeks ago, we introduced the new “Automatic eBay search links” in your CLZ Web software. After launch, we received quite a bit of feedback about this feature, both positive and… let me say… less positive 🙂
So we sat down, went over all feedback, and then came up with some tweaks to make everyone happy!
First, I have to repeat: this feature is OPTIONAL.
Most users love having the quick and easy access to eBay listings for their collectibles, either to:
- easily get a feel for an item’s value, by finding its Completed/Sold listings on eBay.
- easily find available copies on eBay, useful for your wish list items.
However, if you don’t see the value in this, if you don’t find this useful, then you can easily DISABLE this feature in the CLZ Web’s Settings screen, on the bottom right, under “eBay search links”.
v10.2.8: “Update from Core” now replaces preview art with final cover art
New:
- “Update from Core” will now replace preview art with final cover art if it is available.
Some explanation on the above:
If no regular art is available yet, comics often will have preview art as front cover. Once final cover art is available, we update the comic in Core with that final cover art.
To get the final cover art, just select one or more comics, then tap Update from Core from the action menu.
